Based on our current coaxial cables, we have types RG series (CCTV RG-59, broadband RG-6), 50Ω RF/Microwave (e.g. RG-8), and 75Ω television/cables (RG-6). The differences among them include the type of dielectric (solid PE with gasket), windshields fill percentage (varies between 60% to 100%), and outer jacket materials which can be PVC or rubber. These variations are applicable to numerous frequencies and uses, ranging from low-frequency audio to extremely high frequency 5G.
