Base Transceiver Station (BTS) Foundation of Wireless Communication System

Transceiver station can be a stand alone entity which includes any facility that includes components for sending and receiving signals. It is commonly used in the context of communication networks on a base transceiver station level. A mobile transceiver station also has radio frequency signal transmitters and receivers to communicate with mobile devices. But further, it processes the baseband signal to the level of digital to analog or the opposite. Such stations receive signals from all directions and have optimum places for their installation in order to provide wireless coverage. Their performance is critical for the quality of the communication services provided.
