Radio Frequency Remote Unit (RRU) Key Component for Wireless Signal Transmission

BBU is the most important element of a wireless communication base station. It preforms core functions including protocol processing and data ingestion and traffic management. BBUs receive signals from the various remote radio frequency units, processes them into digital signals, and then encodes and modulates them for core network transmission. In 4G and 5G networks, BBUs require further modification to accommodate more complex signal processing expectations of high data rates and massive MIMO operations.
